Great news! Shirts will be available for purchase at the meeting! We have a limited supply of just 20. Medium to extra-large sizes are $13, and 2XL shirts are $15.
If you’re not planning to purchase one, please wear a white shirt. The more of us in white sitting together, the more noticeable our presence will be—and the stronger our statement against the rezoning! Let’s make an impact!
Upcoming Meeting
🚨 THIS IS THE MEETING THAT MATTERS MOST! 🚨
We have received the official notice from Riverside County, and we want to make sure everyone has the information so we can share it with as many neighbors, friends, and community members as possible.
Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 10:00 A.M.
This is the final meeting where our Board of Supervisors will make the decision on the proposed rezoning of a local property — a decision that could have a lasting impact on the rural character and quality of life we value in our community.
We have worked hard, and so far, we have received favorable votes and recommendations at every step of this process. Those recommendations will be passed along to our Supervisor for consideration. But make no mistake — the final decision could still go either way.
💪 NOW IS THE TIME TO SHOW UP!
We need a BIG turnout on September 15th.
Our presence matters. When our community comes together, sits together, and respectfully makes our voices heard, we demonstrate just how strongly united we are in protecting the rural character of our community.
🤍 WEAR WHITE & SIT TOGETHER
To make our community presence clearly visible, we are asking everyone to:
✔️ Wear a white shirt or something similar
✔️ Sit together as a group
✔️ Bring your family, friends, and neighbors
✔️ Encourage others to attend and share this notice
We have all invested countless hours, attended meetings, made phone calls, spread the word, and stood together throughout this process.
Now let's finish what we started.
Let's come together one more time and show our Supervisors that this community is united and that our rural way of life matters.
🤍 ONE COMMUNITY. ONE VOICE. ONE FINAL MEETING.

LET’S STAND TOGETHER TO STOP THIS INFRINGEMENT ON OUR RURAL LIFE!

The Current Issue
Here’s the General Plan Amendment (GPA) discussed at the January 13 hearing.
GPA240053 (Wine Country – South of E. Benton Road) • Applicant: Kali P. Chaudhuri • Location: South of E. Benton Road, east of De Portola Road • District: Third Supervisorial District • Proposal: Change from Rural Residential to various Community Development zones, including Mixed Use and High-Density Residential • Note: Continued to April 14, 2025

Meeting Update!
We’ve just received confirmation from the County regarding our next meeting—it will be a Planning Commissioners meeting Confirmed for: November 19th 9:00am at 4080 Lemon Street, Riverside, CA 92501
(1st Floor).
Let’s all wear white shirts and sit together. This was very impactful at the last meeting and showed the board how unified our community is.
Just like the strong turnout we had at the GPAC meeting, a united presence is key to our continued success. Our involvement made a real impact last time—let’s keep that momentum going and show, once again, that this proposal doesn’t work in our rural area.
They will release the agenda item number 72hrs before the meeting. You can email Emorarodriguez@rivco.org with your comments (include in your email, GPA240053 and that you oppose) and it will be added as part of the package for the meeting. Speaker slips will be available at the meeting, you will need to have the GPA240053 number and the agenda number we don't have yet (we will update 72hrs before meeting with that number for you). You can also email District 3s Supervisor Chuck Washington at D3email@rivco.org in the subject enter GPA240053 and that you Oppose it, then continue with the remainder of your email. Let's do this!

This is absurd!
